Nutrition Services Wellness

Nutrition Services has a Registered Dietitian Nutritionist on staff. It is important to us that all students have the nutrition they need to be fit, healthy, and ready for success. Our menus contain whole-grains, lean proteins, low-fat dairy, and fresh fruits and vegetables every day.

District Wellness

If you are interested in being part of the Bartow County School District Wellness Committee, please contact Emily Miller at emily.miller@bartow.k12.ga.us. The Triennial Assessment results are based on responses from 11 individual schools and 3 community stakeholders, providing a reflection of the District's overall wellness environment.

Triennial Assessment 2020 Results

Our District Wellness Policy can be found on the BCSS Board Policy Page.

Each school has a local wellness representative. Schools engage in wellness activities for both students and staff throughout the school year. Compliance with the Wellness Policy is based on completion of the Bartow County School District Wellness Policy Evaluation Tool. During the 2018-2019 school year, compliance with the Wellness Policy was 100% for our school district. For school year 2019-2020, compliance with the Wellness Policy was 100% for our school district.
